Pastor Terrence and Sister Janice vowed to never step foot in New Life M.B. Church ever again after his oldest sibling Deacon Leroy shot his wife in the church two years ago when a scandal erupted. Chaos breaks out when New Life Missionary Baptist Church has to merge with their rival church, Greater Life Ministries after Reverend Johnson gets sick and suffers a heart attack and Pastor Terrence has to come back to fill in as pastor for his father. Imagine if you will two congregations that don't even like one another, merging together to become one ministry with two first ladies. Whoever said segregation ain't in the church told a bold face lie; it's alive and kicking once again at New Life Missionary Baptist Church. Deacon Leroy swears to get revenge on his younger brother with secrets from his past that threatens his marriage and his ministry. The saga continues with more lies and deception than before as Still Playin' Church takes you on the battlefield of good and evil behind the doors of the church.

This part two has a plenty of drama continuing from book one. There were explanations and revelations to bring the two books together; however, there were still some characters that I wished had been included in the epilogue. I still recommend this book but be ready for some playin' church drama.Product details

Still Playin' Church edition by Jane Jordan Ricky Skilz Kathleen Jackson Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
Not only is what's done in the dark will come to the light, but it can destroy everything and everyone around you in the process.
This is what the characters in author Jane Jordan's STILL PLAYIN' CHURCH realize, and just saying that they are following of Christ and worshipping God doesn't make them immune for what is to come.
Weaving together a story of lies, lust, betrayal and pure jealousy, Jordan showcases what sadly is happening in so many places that are saying they are "saved" and living a "good life". From the deceit of Pastor Terrence to the revelations that arise as the truth is exposed, the reader will see that nothing is ever truly hidden. It just might take a little time for the truth to come out.
Definitely a book that is entertaining as well as reminds us of our own shortcomings from day to day, Jordan has given readers one to remember with STILL PLAYIN' CHURCH.
Great book, great story....you will laugh, cry and I can't wait until the next saga come out.
I enjoyed this book. The author dug deeper into the characters and let everything out. The writing style of Jane Jordan is reality with doses of humor. It's a fast and fun book to read that's filled with surprises that are true to life. It really makes you think about what could be happening behind closed doors. Looking forward to what's next from Jane Jordan!
I read playing church and the story continued with still playing church...It is sad to see what happens behind the scenes of what could have been a great Godfearing church, but the devil got in and all of his evil was let loose. I think the ending was uplifting...
This part two has a plenty of drama continuing from book one. There were explanations and revelations to bring the two books together; however, there were still some characters that I wished had been included in the epilogue. I still recommend this book but be ready for some playin' church drama.
