I do really like this book, and I thought that the premise for the story was very good. BUT there were so many times that I felt that the story was being forced by having every character say exactly what they are thinking out loud every second of their life. In what world do people communicate their innermost feelings every step of the way out loud and in a clear concise manner all the damn time? I got particularly frustrated with the events around Cade and Braden's first meeting. Part the fun of reading M/M romance is the tension of will they or wont they admit their love for each other and the hurdles leading up to the happily ever after. But from the first moment Cade meets Braden he basically starts talking about being madly in love with him and puts all of his feelings out their on the table not only to Braden, but to his best friend and his business partner in long winded emotional explanations of himself. Sometimes that was just too much for me because it is utterly unbelievable and feels forced. Other than that it was okay, but I don't think I will be reading this author again.Product details

Great debut and a fantastic start to a series from a new author. I really enjoyed this story. I liked the plot and the characters - both main and secondary. Looking forward to getting to know these guys more...Cooper, Sawyer, Jackson especially...I really want their stories!
MC Cade was sexy, growly and just awesome. Braden was wonderful. Sweet, loving and just beautiful! I loved his character growth!
I liked the author's writing style. My only complaint would be head hopping between the characters often and without a section break or whatnot. I admit I got confused a couple times, especially in the beginning of the book. It might of interrupted the flow of the book for me just a bit. But I was never discouraged from finishing the book as the story was just that good!
Can't wait for Book Two!

I am trying to gather my thoughts after reading this book.
Trusting Cade by Luna David is her debut book and if this is any indication of what there is next in store, be prepared to see this lady amongst the top writers of this genre.
I have no doubt in my mind that Luna will excel. This book was well written, well edited and more importantly had a great plot.
There is no secret that that I am a big fan of MM stories and I have seen an influx of writers and novels in the past few months. So why do I believe this to be different from some other books out there, and why did this book was so great in my opinion.
Firstly as I said before, for being Luna’s first published book it had an impeccable attention to detail. Secondly, each character was well delivered. The story grabbed me from the very first page and did not let me go until the last one. The dialogues between all characters were perfectly structured and I loved being able to know their thoughts and feelings, this was different from a lot of books out there, Luna brought this new style of writing and it was refreshing and it allowed me to completely get into their minds and feel every single emotion, I cried, laughed, sighed and everything in between, it was simply breathtaking!
I feel in love with both Cade and Braden, and I was sadden to come upon the end of the book.
Cade, an ex-Army Special Forces Captain now has a thriving business with his best friend Cooper called Custos Securities. They offer security protection for both companies and individuals, priding themselves to offering a professional and top class service from only hiring those who excel in their business. The hiring process is a gruelling one.
A chance encounter places Cade into Braden’s world at a time when (without him wanting to accept it) needed him the most.
Braden is a prominent “pastry chef” or patissier, he co-owns a coffee shop with his best friend Maya and leaving the front of house dealings to her, he prefers to be in the kitchen where he is the happiest. That is until lately; he has a secret, one who he hasn’t shared even with Maya, unfortunately or fortunately for him, by a twist of fate she stumbles upon this information and as soon as she realises the danger in which Braden is in, she goes ballistic at the same time when her brother Cooper and his best friend Cade arrive at their shop. From this point forward, Luna grabs our attention delivering a wild chase of cat and mouse, as well as passionate and heartfelt romance between Cade and Braden.
By far this is a must read book for all lovers of the MM genre and one of my top reads of 2016!
The story continues in the next instalment coming out this summer, and I can’t wait for it!

I really enjoyed this book both reading it previously and listening to the audio now.
Tristan James did a great job with the narration and really made the voices for Cade and Braden stand out, matching their personalities and character traits. I really am looking forward to hearing what he gives us for the next two books in this series when they come out in audio.
Cade is former military and current part owner of a Security Company. When his Co-Owner takes him to visit his sister, Cade meets Braden for the first time and is instantly enthralled with Braden. Braden owns a bakery, has diabetes and Loves to distance run for fun. Braden has dealt with an abusive ex in the past and is not sure he wants to put himself in that position again.... Braden Fights against his attraction for Cade not knowing if he can trust Cade not to hurt him, but Cade is determined to make sure Braden feels safe and protected with him.
I really liked this book. We get the ultimate Alpha protective Male with Cade. And Braden is a really cute and sweet character who is his Cades total opposite. You cant help but love the instant connection these two guys have. They fall fully and completely for each other. Your heart will hurt for Braden hearing the things he's had to go through, but you will end up confident that Cade is the perfect Match for him in every way.
